Industrial Blast Freezer
Blast freeze tunnel with licensed special ceiling evaporators (-18°C / -38°C)
Solid construction, maximum refrigeration capacity, innovative evaporator design and intelligent airflow – these are the essential features of an efficient blast freezer. High output rates of up to 600 kg per hour are no problem. The space requirements are low thanks to ceiling evaporators which are exclusively manufactured for KOMA and have inclined fan motors – so the unit is ideal for incorporating into an existing production facility.
Mistral blast chilling / blast freezing system (+15°C / -30°C)
A KOMA "Mistral" blast chiller version of the KTT Blizzard is also available as a chiller for cooling oven-hot products such as freshly baked bread, hot meals (catering, large kitchens). Both the inside and outside of the unit are made of stainless steel, and the floor is shaped as a stainless steel trough with an optional defrost water drain point – so there are no compromises when it comes to hygiene either.

High output rates of up to 1,000 kg per hour are within the standard performance range. Thanks to its wall-mounted evaporators with extremely large surfaces and widely spaced plates its design capacity accommodates large quantities of oven-hot goods.
Conveyor freezer system for blast freezing and chilling (-18°C / -38°C)
This system is designed for high outputs of 2,000 kg per hour and more and it can be integrated into automated production lines through the use of conveying technology. Despite its solid construction, the TurboRunner can be flexibly adapted to changes in the capacity or structure of your production operations. The system's modular design in 3-metre sections enables one or more additional sections to be added to it. The conveyor belt which runs in a straight line is ideal for especially sensitive products whose shape and structure could be damaged in conventional spiral systems due to the curves in the conveyor belt.
Spiral freezer for blast freezing, chilling and fermenting (+40°C / -38°C)
Ultra-modern conveying technology combined with highly efficient refrigeration technology enables high hourly rates of output to be achieved in continuous, automated production. Depending on the products to be frozen/chilled, you can choose either a stainless steel or plastic version of the conveyor belt, and it is fitted with an automatic conveyor wash system so it also meets the (HACCP) hygiene requirements. KOMA spiral towers are suitable for blast freezing, freezing, chilling and fermenting, and they can consequently be incorporated into any automated production process.
